Twilight ~ Rant

Let's see....today, I went out to buy This week's Entertainment Weekly. Imagine my surprise when I accidentally tripped on my mom's soon-to-be garbage, and see Kristen and Rob's faces staring up at me. I happily grabbed it and thanked god i wouldn't have to spend my meager earnings on another one. As I finished looking at the pictures and reading the article, I couldn't help but think, "God, Victoria looks nothing like I imagined XD"
Seriously, though, Some of the people I have my doubts with. When I see some pictures of Rob as Edward I think, "That's looks nothing like him!" and other times I think "he makes a perfect Edward". I've come to accept him, though, and right now I'm just hoping he'll give Edward the role he deserves. I was a little surprised about James as well. I imagined him a little different, but when I flipped the page and saw the picture with him and "Bella" I realized he was perfect for the role.
Sooo, right now, I'm at home, counting down the days, hours, minutes, etc until Breaking Dawn is released and praying that the movie will be everything I'm hoping it is, and more. Well, that's it for my long, boring rant. I hope you guys enjoyed it. XD

P.S. What was up with Jacob's hair in that group photo!?! XDD

Story
Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground. If a student gets on the F4’s bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school.
Makino hopes to pass her days quietly-- without drawing any attention to herself-- but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school because she is a “tough weed”. She declares war right back on the F4. Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyoji Tsukasa.

The series is based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Hana Yori Dango" (Boys Before Flowers) by Kamio Yoko.

I loved the ups and down of this drama. The sequel was also great, too!
The movie came out this summer and I can't wait for it to be subbed so I can watch it!

[ Drama ] Last Friends

I started watching Last Friends a few days ago. I really like it. I was reluctant to start watching it at first, but I've heard a lot of recommendations from a lot of people, so I decided to try it. I'm glad I did because it's very interesting. I especially like the opening:

This drama goes right up there with my faves like 1 Litre of Tears and Hana-Kimi.

I reccomend it to anyone looking for a good drama.

Hey, guys! Well, I'm just stoppin' by to tell you guys about my summer.

I have summer homework which I'm going to do in June, July, and August, since it will be impossible to complete last minute. I'm taking an MRT(medical response technician) class this month, so thats gonna take up a lot of my time. From July to August I got a job with this company I don't really know that much about. I have an interview this Monday, and I'm really nervous about it, since it's my first job. August 1 - 3 will be spent at ConnectiCon. After that, the rest of summer will be spent finishing my enormous homework load and trying to find time to relax and spend time with my friends. I'm also trying to change my layout, but I can't seem to change my layout to the ones that people make. If anyone knows a good tutorial, please tell me about it. Anyway, I'm going to try and squeeze in some homework before I go to bed.

[ Drama ] 1 Litre of Tears

Hey, guys! This week I had Finals, which I did great on! I have my last one, English, tomorrow. Anyway, I'm posting a j-drama(dorama) recommendation. It's for 1 Litre of Tears. I just finished watching this 5 minutes ago and highly recommend you download and watch it.

Here's the summary:

This beautifully moving drama is based on the real-life struggles of a 15-year-old girl named Aya who suffered from an incurable disease, but lived life to the fullest until her death at 25. The script is based on the diary Aya kept writing until she could no longer hold a pen. The book that later followed entitled “One Litre of Tears" has sold over 1.1 million copies in Japan alone.

Aya's only wish was “to live." By carefully depicting Aya's earnest desire to live, and the love of her family, friends, and lover, the drama, “One Litre of Tears" wishes to deliver her simple but strong message: “Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing."

I didn't really start crying until episode 4, but once you start, you can't stop. The last episode is a real tear-jerker, so i recommend you have a box of tissues nearby as you watch it. It's a really good inspirational story and I thought it was very enjoyable.

Back to the grindstone *sigh* Today, I'm busy(again). Mowing the lawn, planting grass seeds, weeding, planting, washing the car, washing the kitchen floor, cleaning my room, finishing my algebra homework doing my biology test, <b>and</b> finishing my social studies research paper. My friend , Kashawn, came over yesterday and slept over, so he's still here. My other friend, Cisco, wants to go to ConnectiCon with me, so I'm trying to get him a space in my hotel room. Yesterday was fun. Brandon liked his ice cream cake, and we spent the day playing video games and laughing. Today, I have to clean. May is full of money-eaters. Mother's Day, Brandon's birthday, Amanda's birthday...*sigh* I'm done with Mother's Day and Brandon's Birthday, but I'm already $30 in-debt. So, today I'm working off that money and trying to earn more. I'm glad I have two more weeks for Amanda's birthday. Anyway, today I'm going to:

Well, today I went to the award things, but I was seriously under dressed, so my teacher was mad at me, but I really didn't care. It wasn't that much of a big deal anyway. I got my new glasses today, they're ok, but I'll stick with my old ones for now. I also bought Brandon's ice cream. It's his birthday tomorrow [he's turning 15] and he's getting a small get together.

I've been thinking about ConnectiCon a lot lately. Mostly about how I'm gonna get money for it and what I'm going to wear. I already have the main idea of it thought up: a skirt, knee-high socks, an invader zim shirt, blue highlights, and boots. I'll post more about my outfit later as I get a better idea of what it will be.

Well, tomorrow I'm going to some award ceremony, I won the Superintendent's award (whatever that is.) I've been talking to my friends from my anime club about ConnectiCon. May 12, 2008 - Afternoon [Tennis]

Well, you guys don't know this, but I got really into tennis. I joined my school tennis team. I usually play ghost matches, though. Ghost matches are when you play a match against the other team, but they don't really count. It's just like practice, only you're facing the other team. Anyway, a lot of people didn't show up to the game, so I got to play doubles with this girl named Athena. We lost, 4-8. But, At least I got to play a real game + I'm the first freshman to play a real one, so I'm happy ^.^
